A moment of existential doubt...

But actually it was OK

In the process of transcribing the latest batch of interviews - I got the sudden cold realisation that it had counted how much I talked versus my interview subjects…

And it seemed that I was talking over my female interviewee, although in the first 1/4 of an interview where I set the scene that’s expected…

But I thought I would check and tally my share of the chat.

For the 10 male interviewees I talked 46% of the time on average, for the 7 female interviewees, just under 45% and in 5 mixed interviews 51%.

So actually, feeling pretty smug about it…
